Grand Hotel du Nord

Check out our special offer at Grand Hotel du Nord, located in the heart of Reims, a must see for champagne lovers. Book your ticket online with Eurotunnel.

Reims is only a 2h30 drive from the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle terminal and is a must see for all francophiles and champagne lovers. Its location makes this wonderful region an easy destination to visit for the weekend. Why not treat yourself to a short break ? Our partner, the Grand Hôtel du Nord,  has come up with three great offers.

Located in the heart of Reims, only a short distance from the 'Notre Dame de Reims' Cathedral, the Grand Hôtel du Nord welcomes you in a building dating back to the early 20th century with typical architectural features of the region, combining charm and modernity.

Notre Dame de Reims

It is ideally located to visit the Caves de Champagne (cellars) and many other unmissable touristic sites.

The hotel has 50 rooms, from single to family suites, all tastefully decorated. All rooms have flat-screen TVs and free WIFI access. You can enjoy your breakfast in your room or in the breakfast area. Your pets are welcome too (booking fee is €10 per pet). Hotel customers can also book a secure car park at a preferential rate.

If you choose the Gourmet break, you will enjoy watching your dinner being prepared at Côté Cuisine.  They have come up with the original idea of welcoming customers into the kitchen and cooking in front of them.

For a quirky experience, try the Perching Bar, a bar suspended in the trees in the heart of the Regional Park, near Verzy. Not to be missed!

Peillon

Peillon looks as though it were carved from the rock face it sits upon

Peillon is a delightfully-small commune seated atop a cliff in the Alpes-Maritimes department in South-eastern France, just 18km from Nice.

On arrival, visitors must leave their cars behind as the only way to get around once within the tiny, tranquil town is by foot. Strolling amongst the incredibly charming, ancient stairways and walkways is a joy, and the town’s little restaurants and cafés provide guests the opportunity to dine like a true local. Those who visit will also forever remember the breath-taking views of the surrounding mountains and the Peillon Valley.
